FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How much does Remote CAD Support cost?

Our CAD drafting services start from £40/hr + VAT for retainer clients and £60/hr + VAT for ad-hoc requests. The rate depends on your selected tier and level of commitment.

*R60 (Ad-Hoc): £60/hr — no contract required

*R50 (Short-Term Retainer): £50/hr — 1–3 month agreement, 20+ hrs/month

*R40Pro (Long-Term Retainer): £40/hr — 3–12 month agreement, 20+ hrs/month

What’s the minimum commitment?

*R60 (Ad-Hoc) jobs require a 2-hour minimum per request.

*R50 & R40Pro retainers require a monthly minimum of 20 hours.

Is white labelling included?

White labelling is available exclusively to retainer clients:

*R40Pro: 1 setup included per client

*R50: Optional at £100 per project (with a 3-month commitment)

*R60: White labelling is not available

This ensures our branded CAD title blocks are reserved for trusted long-term partners.

Can I roll over unused hours?

Yes — R40Pro clients can roll over up to 10 unused hours per month, carried forward for 1 month only. After that, unused hours expire. This “FlexiBank” system provides flexibility while keeping scheduling manageable.

How is work scheduled?

All RCS drafting tasks are scheduled around our Swept Path Analysis (SPA) delivery pipeline.

*Retainer clients (R50 & R40Pro) receive priority scheduling

*Ad-hoc clients (R60) are fit in when availability allows

*Urgent requests should always be discussed ahead of time

What’s included in the rate?

Your hourly rate includes:

*DWG and PDF output

*Version control

*Feedback implementation (within reason)

*Secure file sharing via Box

*Dedicated support from a real human

Can I upgrade from R60 to a retainer?

Yes — and we encourage it. Many clients begin with a small R60 project and move to R50 or R40Pro as their workload increases. We’ll help you migrate with zero disruption.
